I participated in a short film competition under my T257 social media video production module in Year 2 Semester 1 under my Diploma in Digital Content Creation (DDCC ) Curiculum, This comepetion had me plan out the shots, shoot them and edit them in adobe premire pro . I had to film a personal story. I had to make sure that the shots were feasible and that I was able to shoot them all on my own. After shooting the shots needed , I imported them into Premiere Pro and started to edit from there.

This competition broadened my horizons and really changed how I thought about content creation . That it was not as easy as just picking up a camera and start to shoot . I had to meticulously plan out my production plan and reshoot some shots that looked off . Since the competition is still ongoing and the results are not out yet , I will continue to improve my skills in editing and shooting .

This competiton made me realise my passion for telling stories .
